Are you seeking big adventures? For some that might mean climbing Machu Pichu. Others may envision driving a jet ski, or traveling alone to an unfamiliar area. The opportunity might elicit a rush and desire to take the plunge, yet others might feel panic. One thing I am discovering is life is full of opportunities…even small ones. All it takes is a bit of fearlessness, a whole lot of trust in God, and having my eyes open to the possibilities. Instead fear is rising within you. No matter what you face, the question isn't, Can I? It's, Can God? Not even on my seeking-adventure radar until my daughter began her adoption process.

She needed a travel companion — I said yes. It took a year but during that time I learned a lot — about the adoption process, myself, and God as He provided every step of the way. Whether the adventure is small or bigger than we ever imagined, it begins with our willingness to say yes. And we make those decisions every day whether we realize it or not.

I am discovering that God wants me to have an adventurous spirit so that He can accomplish more than I think possible. Whether the adventure is small or bigger than we ever imagined, it begins with our willingness to SayYes. Click To Tweet Some adventures are chosen, while others are thrust upon us. And any change can be viewed as an adventure: A New job. A big move. New baby.

The yes means that you are trusting God for whatever is ahead and finding him faithful for your journey. Maybe I could learn more about adventure. Life is short and if God says He will give me abundant life John that might mean I need to be open to bigger possibilities. Ginger Stache shares her adventures and seeks to impart the idea that God has big plans for each one of us.

And in His unique way, He will display His glory as we travel with Him. You will enjoy the humorous stories of her travels and the things she learned along the way. One thing I particularly like about Chasing Wonder is the questions that follow each chapter. They are thought-provoking and would make great journal prompts or discussion starters. I prayed for 4 years before admitting I needed to sell my big house. In doing it…. Thank you for allowing us to know of this one. Like Peter walking on the water, when He took his eyes off of Jesus, he was afraid. Even though the storm was already raging before he stepped out of the boat.

My apologies for my delay in answering this…I just returned from nine days in Colorado and helping out while my grandson was in the hospital. There were many moments during that transition that I wanted to quit the profession and find something else to do. However, trusting God through the process has helped me grow and allowed me to step into more adventurous opportunities.

Thanks be to God! Victory in Jesus, Sheree. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Thank you! I have just had a life threatening and scary adventure thrust upon me. He made the world, the universe, all people and even me….

Nevertheless my sons and daughter in love to steal a term from you Jeanne and other family and friends have shown love, concern and support. I am not alone. My loving God is with me too, the only wise and powerful God who can….

Praying for you, Pat. I did send you an when I saw this…I just returned from nine days in Colorado and helping out while my grandson was in the hospital. Thanks for stopping by, Jolene.
